Bear Tooth Lodge

Check out this mountain home in Wyoming- yes, the state of ;)

Rustic luxury characterizes this distinctive design that draws inspiration from the great lodges and log structures of the past. A central great room with large fireplace anchors the first level floor plan and is open to the nearby kitchen and dining area. The first-floor master bedroom offers convenience as well as privacy, while the lower level charms with three additional bedrooms, a home theater, billiards and a fun-filled games room.

Muirfield

Doesn't this look like a house in Europe? It's gorgeous and it's in Ada, Michigan! Keep an eye out on our website for more exterior & interior photos. Here's a write up:

Luxury reigns in this French-inspired estate, with its distinctive Mansard roof, European-style stone façade and copper detailing. The sprawling main level includes a central living and dining area with an adjacent gourmet kitchen with central island and nearby master suite with large master bath and walk-in closet. The lower level includes a home theater, exercise area, billiards room and guest bath.

Contemporary Architecture

Did you know that Visbeen Associates has a few contemporary-style homes in our portfolio? Here's the latest one, Sinclaire, built by Mike Schaap Builders. Check out our website to see interior photos, but here's a write up:

Strikingly modern, this dramatic design draws inspiration from the Prairie school as well as the “less-is-more” philosophy. With more than 2,500 square feet of living space spread out on three levels and walls of windows throughout, the design makes the most of the view. A contemporary-inspired floor plan revolves round a central living room with a dining, sitting and kitchen area to the left and study/office to the right. The second level is anchored by a central loft living area flanked by a master bedroom and two additional family rooms. The lower level houses a family room, exercise room and two additional bedrooms.

Party Time!

Last night an open house was held at our West Michigan Lakeshore parade home at 2679 N Lakeshore Drive (between James and Riley.) Mike Schaap Builders and Visbeen Associates were proud to show off their teamwork in this beautiful home. Benchmark Wood Studio did a fantastic job with the cabinetry and interiors and Laurie Lindrup of Revel Custom Cellars provided the tasty fare.

The West Michigan Lakeshore Parade of Homes runs June 11-20, 2009. For hours and locations, contact the Home Builder's Association of the Holland Lakeshore. Also, check out my post from Monday, June 8 for a write up of this home.

Lakeshore Parade of Homes

Visbeen Associates and Mike Schaap Builders present their 2009 Parade home, Cyprus Pointe. Here's a brief write up on the home:

Filled with both country and traditional accents, this approximately 4,000-square-foot design features a stylish and thoroughly livable interior. A covered entry and spacious foyer fronts a large living area with fireplace. To the right are public spaces including a large kitchen with expansive island and nearby dining as well as powder room and laundry. The right side of the house includes a sunny screened porch, master suite and delightful garden room, which occupies the bay window seen in the home’s front façade. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms and a large study; downstairs you’ll find plenty of room for family fun, including a games and billiards area, family room and additional guest suite.

Happy Clients in East Lansing

I recently caught up with clients of Visbeen Associates who built in East Lansing with Key Builders.  Their home is beautiful and they paid us a wonderful compliment: "We loved the process working with Wayne, Paul and you and love our house even more!"

Here's a write up on their home:

Tudor meets tradition in this charming design featuring a timeless stone façade as well as gables, shutters and window boxes. Packed with both family and formal spaces, the home features a large open-plan kitchen with a handy island and nearby family dining. The dining area has a sunny bay window and a built-in banquette around the table. The nearby living room featurse a cozy fireplace for relaxing or entertaining as well as a dining room with French doors that lead to outdoor spaces.
