Italian style brand Cassina will be showing updated versions of Luca Nichetto’s ‘Torei’ side tables at Milan Design Week 2014.

New shapes, colours and supplies will be on show as the series is now available with both solid wood and marble table tops set on a metal structure. Initially inspired by the proportions and usage of serving trays, the name Torei is a phonetic transposition of the Japanese word for “tray”.

Torei will now be available in 4 main forms and two various heights. “The collection offer you a range of options in which it is attainable to combine the types to generate compositions or be utilised individually in conjunction with a sofa as a coffee table or end table in response to the demands of the user’s living space.” says designer Nichetto.
