“Ooho” is a simple and inexpensive blob-like edible water bottle that could replace the typical plastic packaging. Inspired by egg yolks, the Ooho utilizes much tougher dual membranes made from brown algae and calcium chloride to hold water safely. It also wins a 2014 Lexus Design Award.
